Can Electra work on an Apple Mac? |

After installation, I cannot use the tools provided by Electra. What can I do? |
|
By default, Microsoft
Visio is set to high security level and the user
will be prompted to run a macro every time Electra
operates. When a user clicks no, Electra will cease
to function. To enable and use the tools provided by
Electra, set Visio to low security level by
selecting from the menu Tools | Macros | Security,
and on the Security Level tab, select low security. Also make sure the item 'Enable Automation Events' on Tools | Options | Security menu is checked. |

I already have CAD symbols in AutoCad, can I import them into Electra or Visio? |
|
Sure, Microsoft Visio
comes with extensive import filters from major file
formats and drawings from other CAD systems can be
easily imported to Visio. Once imported and converted, these symbols and drawings can be used in Electra to create native symbols using Create Schematic Symbols or Create Layout shape. |
